Mission Trails Golf Course is tucked away in San Carlos, San Diego just north of the city of La Mesa. With nearby Cowles Mountain and Lake Murray as your scenic backdrop, Mission Trails Golf Course has many challenging holes with great views.

The first hole provides golfers with a great chance to begin a good round of enjoyable golf. The par 5 first hole is a long hole but with the wind at your back it's definitely reachable in two shots. There are some short par 4s that are scoreable. 

The front nine at Mission Trails is the golfers chance to score well and take some shots from the course. You'll need them on the back nine, especially when the wind is up; it makes the back nine on the golf course tough. The back nine offers golfers views of Lake Murray, a distinctive lake with fishers, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Mission Trails has some great deals during the week and weekend. Try to get begin your round before 9am because it can get crowded and play can slow. The front nine usually plays slower than the back.
