La Costa Golf
2100 Costa Del Mar Road
Carlsbad, CA 92009

When you walk the fairways at La Costa Resort and Spa you are walking the same fairways that the legends of the game of golf have walked for over 30 years. La Costa Golf Resort is currently the host of the World Golf Championships - Accenture Match Play Championship.

The two PGA Championship 18 hole golf courses at La Costa are both beautiful and traditional in design. Both golf courses challenge golfers' shotmaking ability, both off the tee, and around the greens. Four sets of tees provide a golf course length for all levels of players to enjoy. At La Costa Golf Resort, your golf experience will be a memorable one!

Description of La Costa Golf Courses:

La Costa Resort's North Golf Course

Designed by Dick Wilson the North Course at La Costa is impressive. From most tees the North Course is a little longer than the South Course at La Costa with a few more lakes that come into play. The landing areas are slightly larger with fewer narrow tree lined fairways. One of the most enjoyable experiences in the North Course at La Costa is teeing off on the same first tee as many legends of the game of golf; Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Lee Travino, Arnold Palmer among many others.

La Costa Resort's South Golf Course

Ranked in the top 100 courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine, La Costa Resort's South Golf Course, is an exceptional design by Dick Wilson and has been known to be a little more difficult than the North Course at La Costa. Although it is slightly shorter most people find the narrow fairways and the first five holes to be arduous. A narrow creek that winds through this course comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes. Finishing on the same 9 holes that the PGA Tour finishes on is a nice experience while at the same time a difficult one considering the PGA Tour nickname for the final 5 holes on the South Course at La Costa is the “longest mile” on the PGA Tour.
